Ok I'll admit it - I am an instagram addict! I love love love it! Whenever I see little A looking extra sweet I'm torn between just wanting to cuddle her and not wanting to disturb her before I can snap a picture so I can always remember that moment, so for me Instagram is a perfect app I can upload those special photos and always have them to look back on. If you have instagram and want to be bombarded by adorable photos of my little one follow me @__gilly

Saying goodbye
A few months ago we lost our beautiful family dog Nessie. She had been having problems with eating and keeping food down, when the vets did an exploratory surgery they found three tumors in her bowels which they removed but unfortunately with Nessie being and older dog she didn't pull through the general anesthetic. Luckily I happened to be at mum and dads when it happened so I was able to go up and say goodbye. Nessie you were a such a beautiful dog with an amazing temperament. Thank you for all the cuddles and for being so good with little A when she climbed on you. You will always be loved and are still missed dearly.
Always the flowergirl never the bridesmaid
You may remember Damo and I got married last September (hasn't that flown) and we had our little A as our flowergirl. She did so well walking down the aisle with my sister and sitting quietly during the ceremony and clapping us on.
A month ago Damos brother got married and they had asked Ava to be their flower girl as well. She looked super cute in her dress dropping flower petals from her basket as she walked down the aisle - she stopped just short of the end when she saw me and said "mummy look at me" then stood beside me and proceded the sit on my lap for the ceremony. She was again well behaved (with the help of some lollies) and told guests they should "pack up" the petals before leaving (we may have instilled packing up a lot in this house). Here's a few pics from both our wedding and theirs. It's amazing looking at how big she has grown in just 7 months!
Better late than never
It's been over 6 months since I've updated! I feel like I'm starting from scratch again and what better time to do that than at 2:30 in the morning when you're sick for the seventh (SEVENTH - thank you daycare) time this year. So I'm predicting lots of updates as I go back over these past 6 months on my camera roll. I hope you enjoy (or at least pretend to for my sake).

Wedding day
We did it! We finally got married! If you had asked me a few years ago if I ever wanted to get married you would of been greeted with a massive "hell no" (you would of also seen my uterus jump straight out of my body if the subject of kids ever came up)! I'm a bit of a commitment phobe but after having our beautiful daughter the commitment issue kinda went out the window.
It was such a laid back morning getting ready with my best friends and such a relaxing (yes relaxing) ceremony and reception. Everything went smoothly and we had amazing weather, amazing guests and an amazing bride - I mean groom!
We haven't viewed our professional photos yet but we got a sneak peak of a couple which are here with a couple of other favorites.

Lone pine
The other week we took Ava to Lone Pine to see the animals - I love love LOVE animals so want Ava to grow up around them and respect them. She did so well listening on how to feed the kangaroos and pat them gently. When we got home she decided that Jock also needed to be hand fed.

Hens night
3 weeks!!! That's all, three. little. weeks. And then I'm somebodys wife! Last Saturday night I had my hens party. It was such a beautiful day that started with lunch, mani pedis and cocktails with my gorgeous mum and beautiful bridesmaids. Then we met my friends for dinner by the river followed by drinks and dancing. Thankyou to everyone that contributed whether by helping organise, coming along or wishing me a happy hens day/night - maybe I'll need to get married again just to have another night out!
Just a couple of pics from the night, trust me no one needs to see them all - no one.
