Good Friday

Here's a few snaps from this morning at the park - hope everyone enjoys their Easter!

End of summer

Even though it's technically autumn the sun has been hanging around the past couple of days and we love it! Yesterday Ava her gran and I went down the coast.  We had to have a meeting with a florist for the wedding and had sushi with my sister and her partner.  They had the quicksilver pro on and after seeing all the surfers I just wanted to be in the water. Hopefully the sun hangs around a bit longer so I can take my bodyboard down to the beach in the next couple of weekends.

Little girl

I don't know why but this photo makes me look at Ava differently - likes she's not a baby anymore, maybe not even a toddler but a little girl! And then she blows me a big raspberry and I think to myself "nahh she's still my little baby" and I'm glad for that.

The week that was

Or maybe more the weeks that were! We've had a couple of full on weeks running here there and everywhere - birthdays (we had my dads 50th and I could probably do a separate blog post just on that but I think I'll spare you all the embarrassing details)! , christenings, wedding planning meetings but its been fun. When we've been at home Ava loves playing with her blocks and walking a lot!

Valentine's day

This Valentine's day started out the best way any day could - with pancakes!! I got up a bit earlier and made some special ones for damo and some mini ones for Ava.  Damo had to work so Ava and I spent the day having tea party's and relaxing on the cushions - I think Ava has been watching her daddy too much with the poses she pulls while relaxing!  

The week that was

We have had such a full on week! Ava started walking BY HERSELF! I cannot say how proud I am of her! (Or how sore my back is getting being slightly hunched making sure she holds my hand in public). We went down the coast to meet our newest family member Hunter (my sisters new cat who is adorable)! Then went up the coast to catch up with friends and our godson Axel.
These next few weeks are going to be just as busy with meetings with wedding planners, photographers etc but we're looking forward to the fun!
