Big honour

Damo and I recieved a massive honour when our friends Drew and Kellie asked us to be Godparents to their adorable little boy Axel.  We had his naming day on Sunday which was beautiful so wanted to share one of the pics from the day.

How cute is Ava reading her book? This happened while waiting in the drs surgery.  She loves being the centre of attention - I think we have a little entertainer on our hands!

 

 

Loving the sunshine

The weather lately has been amazing and Damo and I love spending time outside in the sun, and if the past weekend is anything to go by so does Ava.  We can't wait for this summer especially when Ava is running around with us too. 

 

 

Springbrook

Today we took Ava for a bush walk through Springbrook national park. We just did a short circuit that comes to 'Natural Bridge' which has an amazing waterfall coming down into a cave. At night you can see glow worms (we'll have to go back to see them one night)!

Ava is fascinated with water and loved watching the waterfall. We had planned to stop by an animal farm on the way home but Ava had just fallen asleep so will have to wait till next time. We did stop at the park down the road from our house though so Ava could spend some time on the grass. Again we have heaps more pics but it won't let me upload them all so may have to do a 'catch up' post later. 

 

Sunshine

This afternoon we stopped in the park for Ava to get out of her pram and enjoy the beautiful sunshine we've had the past two days.  Ava is so close to crawling! She gets her knees up but doesn't move her arms so kind of faceplants, but she moves forward now so that's a bonus! I think by the end of the month she will have it downpat and then I'll be missing the days of being able to put her down go to the toilet and come back and her still be in the same spot!



I have so many more photos to put up of Ava from this afternoon but this seems to be playing up so may have to do it in a later post.

Ink'd

Damo decided to add to his tattoo the other week so I went along and ended up getting another one too (much to mums displeasure)!  I always go with small easily hidden ones for myself and got a cross on my back.  Damo finished off his arm which he got started in Edinburgh.  I think they both look good and Damos already booked in for his next one (they really do become addictive don't they)?!
